68. Darkher - "The Buried Storm"

 Another slice of ominous ethereal atmospherics for you to savour. Darkher is essentially the creative outlet for Hebden Bridge resident Jayn Maiven. Her lilting warblings marry beautifully with the slight, but still sturdy, introspective doom metal that accompanies her. This is metal at its most slight and fragile. It conjures in the mind up images of desolate moors and robed figures. Mechanistically cinematic, it is a sea of brooding contemplation. Metal for thinking people.
